Clean Energy Associates Limited (CEA) is a solar energy consulting firm established in 2008, serving the needs of solar industry manufacturers, project developers, EPC contractors, and investors in the areas of market research, supplier identification, procurement, and quality assurance solutions for the solar energy sector. In 2010, CEA established a Chinese Wholly Foreign Owned Entity in Shanghai to provide better access to the Chinese market. With global customers in North America, Europe and Asia, CEA has a broad platform of relationships and experience to meet the needs of its clients.

China Entry and Business Development Strategy

Consulted for a US based technology company in evaluating their current China strategy and developing a more comprehensive China market entry plan that included contracting with customers, establishing operations and finding partners in the Chinese market. Conducted market research surveying 100+ potential customers and connected client with executive level decision makers within strongest prospects.

Downstream Partner Identification for Canadian Investment Fund

Advised an investment fund with $150M+ in assets to establish a downstream project business in North America and Europe. Introduced fund manager to global EPC firms, installation companies and manufacturers. Conducted onsite visit to ground-mounted solar park and completed due diligence on a potential investment in a European solar developer. Analyzed and evaluated multiple business models for assuming development and construction finance risk.
